Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Richthrill LTD website and the products, tickets, bookings and services you can purchase or request through it.
Last updated: September 15, 2026
Book, buy and register in good faith. Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded. Event tickets are non-refundable but transferable. Talent bookings require a deposit to lock the date. Be respectful, don't abuse the site, and reach out if anything goes wrong — we'd rather fix it than argue about it.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using the Richthrill LTD website (the "Site") or any of the services available through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.
These Terms apply to every visitor, customer, applicant, attendee, donor and volunteer. They apply whether you browse the site, buy an ebook, purchase an event ticket, submit a booking enquiry, apply to join the roster, or donate.
Where additional terms apply to a specific service — for example, a specific event's rules, a sponsorship agreement, or a talent representation contract — those terms apply on top of these Terms. If there is a conflict, the specific terms take priority for that service.
2. Who we are
Richthrill LTD ("Richthrill", "we", "us", "our") is an entertainment, media and marketing agency based in Abuja, Nigeria. We operate the Site and provide digital products, event experiences, talent bookings, advertising packages and community programs through it.
You can contact us at hello@richthrill.com.
3. Eligibility
To place an order, buy a ticket, submit a booking enquiry, apply to the roster, or make a donation, you must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian to use the service.
Some of our events and community programs are designed for children. In those cases, a parent or guardian provides any information on the child's behalf and accepts these Terms on the child's behalf.
By using the Site, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, that you have the authority to enter into a transaction, and that you will not use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
4. Orders and payments
When you place an order for an ebook or an event ticket, you are making an offer to purchase. Our acceptance of that offer occurs when we confirm the order — for online payments, when the payment is verified; for bank transfers, when we confirm receipt of your payment.
Payment methods
- Card payments. Processed by our payment provider, Paystack. We do not store your card details.
- Bank transfer. You transfer the amount directly to our account using the reference provided. Your order is confirmed once we verify the transfer.
Pricing
All prices are shown in the currency indicated and include applicable taxes where required. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
Order confirmation
After payment confirmation, we send a confirmation email to the address you provided. It is your responsibility to ensure the email address you give us is correct — many orders (ebooks, tickets) are delivered only by email.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may mark the order as failed and release any reserved tickets. If you believe your payment went through but you don't see it reflected, contact us with your order reference and we'll investigate.
Order cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion — for example, if there's a pricing error, a technical fault, evidence of fraud, or if the item is no longer available. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we will refund the amount in full.
5. Ebooks and digital products
Delivery
Ebooks are delivered as a PDF download link. The link is sent to the email address you provide at checkout, and is also available on your order status page. Downloads are for you alone.
Licence
When you buy an ebook, we grant you a single-user, non-transferable licence to download and read the file for personal use. You may not:
- Redistribute, share, resell or give away the file
- Upload the file to a public website, file-sharing service, or messaging group
- Copy substantial portions of the content into a public work
- Use the file for commercial training, resale, or repackaging
If you want to share a guide with a team or organisation, contact us — we offer team and institutional licences at discounted rates.
Refunds on ebooks
Because ebooks are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, we do not offer refunds once the file has been downloaded. This is the standard policy for digital products and it applies even if you decide later that the guide isn't for you.
If you experience a technical problem — the download doesn't work, the file is corrupted, or you paid but never received the link — contact us and we will resolve it. We do not profit from delivery failures.
Updates
If we revise an ebook after you've purchased it, we will send you the updated version at no additional charge. We email buyers whenever a significant revision is published.
6. Event tickets
Purchase and confirmation
When you register for an event — free or paid — you receive a confirmation email with your ticket and event details. Your ticket is valid for the number of attendees you booked. It is not valid for entry if it has been modified, resold, or transferred outside the methods we support.
Entry and conduct
Admission to a Richthrill event is at our discretion. We may refuse entry or remove attendees who:
- Behave in a threatening, abusive or harassing way
- Are visibly intoxicated or under the influence of illegal substances
- Attempt to enter without a valid ticket, or with a ticket we've flagged as fraudulent
- Interfere with the event, the talent, or other attendees
Refunds will not be given in these cases. Some events have age restrictions or dress codes — those are listed on the event page and apply to all attendees.
Refunds and cancellations
Event tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If you can no longer attend, you can pass your ticket to someone else — just email us the name of the new attendee before the event. We'll update the ticket.
If we cancel or postpone an event, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or a credit for a future event. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation, or any other costs you incur in connection with an event — please book those after we confirm the event is going ahead.
Changes to the event
We may make reasonable changes to an event — lineup, timings, venue within the same city, or format. These changes do not automatically entitle you to a refund, but if you're no longer able to attend because of a material change, contact us and we'll discuss options.
Photography and recording
Richthrill events are photographed and filmed. By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed in public areas and to those images being used for promotion on our channels. If you'd prefer not to be included, let a member of our team know on the day and we'll work with you.
7. Talent bookings
Enquiries are not bookings
Submitting a booking enquiry through our site (or through the talent pages) is not a booking. It is a request to begin a conversation. A booking is only confirmed when:
- We confirm the talent's availability in writing, and
- You accept a written quote or agreement, and
- We receive the agreed deposit (where applicable)
Rates and quotes
Quoted rates cover the talent's appearance for the agreed window. Travel, accommodation, meals, equipment hire, and any other extras are quoted separately depending on scope. We will always lay this out clearly before you commit.
Deposits and cancellation
A deposit (typically 50%, but it can vary) is required to lock the date. Cancellation terms are set out in the specific agreement you sign — as a general guide:
- More than 14 days before the event. Deposit may be transferred to a future date, subject to the talent's availability.
- 7–14 days before. Deposit is non-refundable, but may be partially credited at our discretion.
- Less than 7 days before, or on the day. Full fee is payable.
If the talent becomes unavailable (illness, family emergency, or similar), we will offer an equivalent substitute or a full refund of your deposit. Our specific commitment will be set out in the agreement.
Conduct on the day
You agree to provide a safe, professional working environment for the talent you've booked. This includes reasonable hours, a private space for changing or preparation, and respectful treatment by your staff and guests. We reserve the right to remove the talent (and refund minus our costs) if conditions are unsafe or unprofessional.
8. Talent roster and applications
Applying
Applying to join the Richthrill roster is free. We do not charge talent to apply, to be considered, or to be represented. If anyone ever contacts you asking for payment to join our roster, they are not us — report it to us immediately.
Representation is separate
Submitting an application does not create a representation agreement. Representation begins only when both sides sign a formal agreement. Until then, you are free to work with other agencies and pursue your own opportunities.
Roster obligations
If you are accepted onto the roster, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your experience, availability and rates
- Respond to booking enquiries and logistics messages within a reasonable time
- Honour confirmed bookings
- Notify us promptly of anything that would affect a booking
- Represent Richthrill professionally when working on our behalf
Removal from the roster
We may remove talent from the roster if there is repeated unreliability, dishonesty, unprofessional conduct, or a breach of the representation agreement. You may also leave the roster at any time by giving written notice — existing bookings will be honoured.
9. Advertising and partnerships
Enquiries and quotes
Advertising and partnership enquiries submitted through the Site are requests to begin a conversation, not commitments. Specific terms — deliverables, timing, budget, usage rights, approval process — are agreed in a written proposal before any work begins.
Content approvals
Sponsored content produced on your behalf is subject to your approval before publishing. We will not publish anything we haven't agreed with you in advance.
Reporting
We provide a written report after each campaign covering what was delivered and the results observed. We report honestly — if a campaign underperformed, we'll say so and explain why.
Payment
Payment terms for advertising and partnerships are set out in the individual proposal. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 14 days. We reserve the right to pause or cancel a partnership if payment is not received.
10. Donations and volunteering
Donations
Donations made through our Site are voluntary and non-refundable once processed. They support Richthrill Foundation projects, community programs and impact work as described on the relevant pages.
We use donations for the purposes described on the Site. We do not guarantee a specific outcome for any individual donation, but we do publish reports on completed projects and aim to be transparent about where funds are allocated.
Where permitted by law, we can provide a receipt for donations. Whether a donation is tax-deductible depends on your jurisdiction — contact us and we'll tell you what documentation we can provide.
Volunteering
Volunteer signups are not an employment relationship. Volunteering is unpaid, and no guarantees of specific roles, hours, or ongoing engagement are made. Volunteers must act in good faith and follow the safety and conduct guidelines shared with them for each project or event.
We may decline or end a volunteer's participation at any time — for example, if they act in a way that risks the safety or wellbeing of others.
11. Content you submit
When you submit content to us — for example, a message on a contact form, a portfolio link in a talent application, an image in a payment proof, or a comment on an event — you confirm that:
- You own the content or have permission to share it
- The content doesn't infringe anyone else's rights, and doesn't contain anything illegal, defamatory, or harmful
- You grant us permission to store, review and (where relevant to the service) use the content for the purposes of responding to your enquiry or completing your order
You retain ownership of your content. We do not claim exclusive rights over it, and we do not sell it to third parties.
Content submitted through our forms is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
12. Intellectual property
Our content
Everything on the Site — text, images, logos, design, layout, code, videos, audio and any downloadable materials we provide — is the property of Richthrill or its licensors, and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or modify any part of the Site or its content without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use (for example, printing an ebook you've purchased for your own reading).
The Richthrill name
"Richthrill", "Richthrill Foundation" and our logos are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written consent — this includes in a way that suggests an endorsement, partnership, or affiliation that doesn't exist.
User content
Content you submit remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a limited licence to use it as needed to deliver the service you've requested (for example, to display a portfolio link on your talent profile if you're on the roster).
13. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the Site to:
- Break any law, or encourage anyone else to break one
- Submit false information, impersonate someone else, or misrepresent your identity
- Send spam, unsolicited advertising, or bulk messages through our forms
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, our servers, or another user's account
- Interfere with the Site's operation — including scraping, automated requests, denial-of-service, or overwhelming our servers
- Upload anything containing viruses, malware, or code designed to harm or disrupt
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- Harass, threaten, or abuse any member of our team, our talent, or any other user
- Use the Site for anything we have not clearly authorised in writing
If we detect any of these, we may suspend or block your access, cancel pending orders, and (where appropriate) report the matter to the relevant authorities.
14. Third-party services
The Site uses third-party services to function — including payment processing (Paystack), web hosting, and email delivery. Where we integrate those services, their terms and privacy policies apply to the parts of the transaction they handle.
Links on the Site may also take you to external sites we do not control (for example, an artist's social profile). We are not responsible for the content or practices of any external site, and we recommend reviewing their terms and privacy policies before using them.
15. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." While we work to keep everything accurate and functioning, we do not warrant that:
- The Site will always be available, secure, or free from errors
- Any content is complete, current, or suitable for your specific purpose
- Any third-party service we rely on will remain available or uninterrupted
Nothing on the Site — including guides, ebooks, articles, or advice — constitutes professional legal, financial, tax, or business advice. You are responsible for deciding whether any information is appropriate for your situation.
Any testimonials, results, or outcomes mentioned on the Site are illustrative and not a guarantee that you will achieve the same results.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Richthrill is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or services — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the use of the Site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the equivalent in the local currency of one hundred US dollars (USD 100), whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited — including for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Richthrill, its directors, employees, contractors and agents from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your misuse of the Site or any service
- Any content you submit that infringes someone else's rights or violates the law
- Your violation of any rights of a third party
18. Termination and suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site — with or without notice — if we believe you have breached these Terms, are using the Site unlawfully, or pose a risk to us, our team, our talent or other users.
If your access is suspended, any confirmed orders or bookings will be honoured according to their existing terms, unless the reason for suspension makes this inappropriate (for example, if a booking was obtained through fraud or misrepresentation).
Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that by their nature survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and provisions about governing law.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Before escalating any dispute to formal proceedings, both sides agree to attempt to resolve the matter informally by written notice and, if appropriate, a good-faith discussion within 30 days of the notice.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief where necessary.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, when we add a new service, change a policy, or when the law changes. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree with a change, your only remedy is to stop using the Site.
Orders, bookings and agreements that were confirmed before a change are governed by the version of these Terms that was in effect at the time.
